Parker Genealogy

This line starts with Edward ‘John’ Parker (b. 1598, Eng), an early settler of New Haven, CT.

Edward John married Elizabeth Wood, daughter of Henry Wood & Elizabeth Goodspeed. Together they had at least 5 children, John is this line.

The last mentioned John married Hannah Bassett. They had at least 11 children. We descend from TWO of those children; John Jr & Eliphalet. John Jr married twice, we descend from Mary Kibbe. Of 3 known children of theirs, we follow Isaac's line.

Finally we get to John Parker & Merab Parker (2nd cousins). THIS John is Kelly's DAR Patriot. We descend from their child Chester.

Chester married Mary Polly Clinton. He died fairly young, leaving Polly with 8 children to raise. These kids were split up.  Our ancestor, Hannah, was sent to live with a cousin, Gamaliel & Renuid Sheldon Parker in Chautauqua Co, NY.

Hannah married William Culver and had 3 known children; Harriet Hattie Culver (married William Gage), Lillian Culver (wife of Frank Waite), & Neel Culver (who disappears after June 1880.

Lily & Frank's son Ralph Waite married Hazel Bronson, Kelly's great grandparents.
